Our Location
We are located at Woodstock in the Northern part of the South Island of New Zealand. Woodstock is 35 km up the beautiful Motueka valley from Motueka township, or 16 km down the valley from Tapawera. The drive from Nelson City to Woodstock is 60 km which normally takes about 50 minutes. Woodstock is strategically located on State Highway 61 which is the main road between Motueka and the West Coast of the South Island.
We are right next to the Motueka river which is one of the best trout fishing rivers in New Zealand (the trout fishing season in this area is from October 1 to April 30). There are also many picnic spots and wonderful swimming holes for cooling off during the hot summer months.

Although some maps show a road between Wakefield and Dovedale, this road is largely unsealed and winds through forestry plantations. It is not a good shortcut from Nelson.
